Sa-Su11-12 Jul Scout Colditz Challenge. A night time adventure for teams of 4 to 6 Scouts run at Broadstone Warren. Also includes a skills trophy during the Saturday afternoon. Who can escape ‘Colditz’?

Sa-Su19-20 Sep Scout Survival Skills Challenge Weekend at Broadstone Warren and Backwoods Cooking Competition
Sa3 Oct Sussex Downsman Competition. A test of endurance for Scouts, 25 miles over the South Downs way with the fastest team winning. There is also an ‘Open’ class ideal for cubs, and younger Scouts for training. Explorers walk 35 miles and Leaders 45 or 82 miles!
Su11 Oct Mountain Bike Challenge. A chance to cycle at Broadstone Warren. A challenging course is created in a part of the site, with Scouts invited to achieve their fastest time.
Sa-Su17-18 Oct JOTI and JOTA World Jamboree 24 hours on the Internet mufti 9 AM to 9 AM scouts and explorers will be doing JOTI all night at Ticehurst Scout HQ and Crowborough HQ
Sa-Su17-18 Oct JOTA World Jamboree on the Airwaves, 1st Ringmer Scout H.Q. Lewes Road, Ringmer (by the village green), 10am onwards, Operate some of the latest radios and modes to talk to other Scouts all around the world - wire free!
Sa17 Oct JOTI World Jamboree 24 hours on the Internet mufti 9 AM to 9 PM just drop in for an hour or 12 hours

Fr-Su30-1 Nov Forester Badge. This badge course has an emphasis on practical skills. Residential, taught by a team of skilled volunteers.
