Yapootcha – the greeting of the Semolina tribe will be heard across the Rother Valley this May as we gather the tribes for a weekend of frontier activities. From Dreamcatchers and backwoods cooking to teepees and wild west shootouts we hope to bring the spirit of those folks that opened up the Americas ready for Hollywood and George Bush. I wonder whether the settlers would have turned around and come home leaving ‘the people’ to their lands if they had known that the land of the free would become the land of Dunkin’ donuts, MacDonalds and the Simpsons.

 As our tribute to these brave folks we are reuniting the tribes of the West. We hope that you are able to join us at the happy hunting grounds of Batemans in Burwash.
